Amalgamated Sugar has donated a tree to the Canyon County Festival of Trees for their 2021 auction. Every dollar raised benefits the Nampa and Caldwell Meals on Wheels programs – “Now more than ever, the support is needed to make sure no senior goes hungry. We have seen the need in the Caldwell area alone increase by 30 percent,” said Julie Warwick, festival board member and Caldwell Meals on Wheels Coordinator.
The tree is themed “From Farm to Factory to Your Holiday Table” and features a festive mix of wooden, metal, and colored bulb decorations on a 7 foot, pre-lit tree. The ornaments are a mix of farm, factory, and baking elements to capture the journey of sugar from farm to table.
Included in the tree are $200 in Winco gift cards, a Pro 5 Plus Kitchenaid Mixer ($450 value), a V20 Craftsman Drill Set ($180 value), a Holiday Baking Set ($75 value), four bottles of Idaho wine and a collection of Idaho-made items that use Amalgamated Sugar in their products ($150 value)
The auction closes on Tuesday, November 30 at 8 pm MST. Donations are tax-deductible. To view and bid Click Here Now.
