The Mini-Cassia Factory, located in Paul, Idaho, stands as Amalgamated Sugar’s largest beet processing facility and one of the most efficient in North America.
The Mini-Cassia Factory was built in 1917.
This modernized plant processes an impressive 17,000 tons of sugarbeets daily, yielding approximately 1,400 tons of granulated sugar.
Beyond sugar production, the Mini-Cassia factory manufactures animal feed products, notably dried pulp.
Its production is geared towards fulfilling industrial needs, packaging sugar in 50-pound bags available for bulk transport via rail cars, trucks, and totes.
This facility plays a vital economic role in the Mini-Cassia region, providing substantial employment and supporting numerous related industries.
